Hiking Bung Orad and Bung Orad, Bau, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia

Bung Orad is nearby Bung Bratak, but need to drive car.
Total 1.5 liter water should be enough, may keep spare water in car.
Bung Orad need both hands, wear glove if you have. Need hands to climb some steep stairs and slopes with ropes. Bung Orad got moderate trial inside. Cool and shaded.
Bung Bratak no need hands. Pavement staircase to the top, covered with many dried leaves. No hands needed, but on a hot day umbrella is highly recommended to prevent body heat issue as many parts of the route are not shaded.

Kampung Sadir Waterfall ( Ban Buan Kukuot Waterfall)

More than 1 hours drive from Giant Padawan. May require stronger cars to climb some slopes. You may need to switch off car aircond to climb some slopes. Car can park at Lorong 4 Kampung Sadir.
Easy hike around 1 hour - but can consider long pants as bushes may brush or scratch your shin as you walk the trail.
No hands needed.
Water 1.5 is more than enough.
Waterfall water very cold, no deep (seriously don't jump into water!!). Many big stones in water, and many little fish come to tickle your feet.
Beware of sunburn, as it is cold but the sun ray is strong.

Kampung Sadir waterfalls (Buan Nyebak Waterfall, Mabi Waterfall and Tru' Ung Waterfall)

Kampung Sadir is beyond Annah Rais hotspring, beyond entrance to Borneo Highlands Resort. Driving about 1 hours drive from Giant Padawan.

Please hire a guide.

We visit to 3 waterfalls within a day: Buan Nyebak Waterfall, Mabi Waterfall and Tru' Ung Waterfall. Easy hike. Water less than 1.5 enough for me. Car needs to be powerful enough to climb slopes. Poor signal, challenges using phone and gps.
